A landing page is a single focused web page built for one treatment or offer, designed to turn visitors from ads or searches into patient enquiries.
What it means
A landing page is where a patient lands after clicking an ad or a search result. Unlike your home page, it does one job: explain one treatment or offer clearly and help the patient take one action, such as booking a consultation or starting a WhatsApp chat.
Sending ad traffic to a general home page is one of the most common leaks in clinic marketing. The patient clicked an ad about hair restoration and arrives at a page about everything the clinic does. They have to hunt, and most will not. A good landing page keeps the promise the ad made.
How to calculate it
Landing page conversion rate = enquiries from the page ÷ unique visitors to the page × 100
Count calls, forms and WhatsApp clicks from the page, and track each landing page separately.
For example, a landing page for a knee replacement consultation gets 1,000 visitors in a month and 50 of them enquire. Landing page conversion rate = 50 ÷ 1,000 × 100 = 5%.
What good looks like
HBA does not publish a landing page benchmark, because it varies with traffic source and treatment. Higher is better, and HBA tracks it weekly alongside the booking rate of those enquiries, so a page is never judged on clicks alone.
How to improve it
- Match the headline to the ad the patient clicked, word for word where possible.
- Introduce the doctor with a real photo, qualifications and a short video, so the patient knows who they will meet.
- Explain what happens at the consultation and give an honest idea of cost, without outcome promises.
- Offer one clear action, such as a WhatsApp button or a short form, and keep it visible on mobile.
- Make the page load fast on a phone. Our landing pages and funnels are built mobile first.

Frequently asked questions
Should clinic ads go to the home page or a landing page?
A landing page, almost always. The home page tries to cover everything, while a landing page explains the one treatment the ad promised and offers one clear next step. Patients find what they clicked for straight away, which usually means more enquiries for the same ad spend.
What should a clinic landing page include?
A headline that matches the ad, a short introduction to the doctor with a real photo, what happens at the consultation, an honest idea of cost, common questions answered and one clear action such as a WhatsApp button. Keep it fast on mobile and free of outcome promises.
