Sound familiar?

They see your patients first. Then they send them somewhere else.

A GP two streets away sees exactly the patients you treat. You've never spoken to them.
A few doctors used to refer to you regularly. Now you can't remember when they last did.
You've heard other specialists "take care of" referring doctors. You won't do that, and you shouldn't. But you don't know what works instead.
Nobody in your practice tracks who referred whom, so you can't even thank the doctors who do.

Run your own numbers. Right now.

How many doctors near you have never sent you a patient?

Count the doctors in your area who see your kind of patients first. Then count how many referred anyone in the last three months.

Assumption used: 1 in 4 of the silent doctors starts referring at your current average. Your numbers will differ.

Why this works when "networking" didn't

Doctors refer to the specialists who keep them in the loop

The result

Referrals you've earned

Doctors who send patients because they trust your care, not your hospitality.

Why it works

Built from 3,000+ consults

The habit is simple, and most specialists never do it.

How fast

20 minutes to map it

Five updates this week. The relationships build from there.

How hard

A list and a phone

No events. No dinners. No money. Nothing outside the rules.

Your referral network, on one page

Page 3 shows the habit that turns "not yet" into "regular", and the NMC line you never cross.

Be honest with yourself

This guide is not for everyone

It's for you if

  • You're a specialist, and many of your patients see another doctor first.
  • Your referrals have slowed, or were never steady.
  • You want to grow referrals on clinical trust, inside the NMC rules.

Skip it if

  • You're looking for a commission or "cut" arrangement. It isn't allowed.
  • You don't want to send updates to referring doctors.
  • Almost none of your patients come through other doctors.

Who's behind this

From Harsh Priyadarshi

I've sat across from more than 3,000 doctors and clinic owners in one-to-one growth consults. The specialists with the strongest referrals were rarely the most social. They were the ones who always reported back.

This guide is how we help specialists build referral relationships on care and communication alone. Use it this week.

Questions doctors ask

Before you download

Is it okay to give referring doctors anything at all?

Not for referrals. The NMC guidelines dated 6 October 2026 bar referral fees, commissions and any consideration connected with getting patients, and gifts or benefits used as inducements. The guide shows what builds referrals instead: clinical updates, quick access and teaching. It isn't legal advice.

What do I put in a clinical update?

Two lines: what you found, the plan, and what the referring doctor should watch for. Always with the patient's consent.

Does it work for my speciality?

Yes, for any speciality where another doctor often sees the patient first: orthopaedics, urology, IVF, eye care, ENT, gynaecology, cardiology, oncology and more.

What happens after I fill in the form?

The PDF arrives on your WhatsApp and email within a minute. We may send a few useful follow-ups. You can stop them anytime.

Last thing

Every doctor near you is sending patients somewhere. Why not to you?

Twenty minutes with this guide shows you who to talk to, and what to send them. No money involved.

P.S. If you skipped to the bottom: referrals grow when you report back on every patient, with consent. It's simple, it's ethical, and most specialists never do it. Get the guide here.
